Experience
Shruti is an Associate Partner with over 15 years of experience as a legal consultant with leading law firms in Banking, Project Finance/ infrastructure finance, Corporate Laws, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, securities and legal issues relating to structuring and negotiating commercial transactions and documentation in domestic and cross border matters.
She has advised domestic and international clients across practice areas such as Insolvency and Bankruptcy and dispute resolution in NCLT on Committee of Creditors and CIRP matters; Forensic Audit; Trade Finance matters relating to asset-based lending and structured finance; Factoring and Equipment lease financing; SEBI matters including fund setup advisory such as Alternate Investment Funds, Acquisitions, Private equity investments, foreign strategic investments into existing Indian ventures; Corporate financing and issuance of debt instruments and General corporate advisory.
She is a qualified Company Secretary and an MBA (Finance) and is also a visiting faculty at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She is a regular contributor to national and international newsletters and web portals like Live Law and HerMoneyTalks on various legal issues.
Prior to joining Orbit Law Services, Shruti worked as a Senior Associate with HSA Advocates and India Law Services, Mumbai.
