Experience
Ashok has more than 40 years’ of extensive experience as an in–house counsel with expertise in the Real Estate Sector, title due diligence, compliances and legal audit Securitization & other SARAFAESI matters including legal issues relating to the Stamp Duty, Adjudication & Registration of Documents.
He was an integral part of the legal department of Maharashtra State Financial Corporation and Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) for over 26 years. As an in-house counsel of IDBI, Ashok has also led complex title due diligence and creation of security for various projects of IDBI in India. In 2006 he joined Reliance Asset Reconstruction Company Limited and went on to become the Group Legal Head of Reliance Capital Limited. Ashok is heading the real estate practice, legal compliances and legal audit of Orbit Law Services. Ashok also specializes in Securitization and SARAFAESI matters including matters relating to Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs).
